Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Chianti Classico opens with a mild black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, soft, and round. The flavor profile is a gentle black cherry with just a hint of oak. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are very tame. This is a very food friendly wine and would pair well with many Italian dishes. I would pick Mario Batali's Ragu Bolognese. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of soft fruit, pomegranate, floral element of violet. The impact on the palate is satisfyingly mouth-filling, pleasurably balanced between acidity and alcohol, with a cherry aftertaste. Serve with Tuscan cured meat and pork.
