Wine Review: This translucent and pale straw-colored Grenache Blanc from Spain opens with a green apple and mild anise bouquet with hints of Anjou pear and honeysuckle. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is a saline and Anjou pear blend with notes of chalky minerality and white tea. I also detected hints of dried herbs and white peach. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair this Grenache Blanc with Cod en Papillote (poached cod on the grill) Enjoy - Ken
