Wine Review: This savory and robust Pinot Noir from Marlborough, New Zealand is a brilliant cherry red color. The bouquet is very earthy and flinty, with cranberry, fresh strawberry, and spice notes. On the palate it is medium bodied, moderately acidic, fresh, and dry with a nice silky mouthfeel. Flavors include cranberry, red raspberry, crushed stone, cedar, and dried herbs. There are pleasant round tannins in the dry, long finish. Serve with a grilled lamb burger. – Mark
