Wine Review: This pale straw colored Albarino from California opens with an Anjou Pear bouquet with hints of tangerine in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused Anjou pear with notes of tart green apple with a hint of lime. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This wine is a nice poolside sipper. I would serve it with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Lime & orange blossom aromas, hints of pear, fresh cut peaches, Meyer lemon, lime zest, blood oranges and white stones. Silky texture on the palate, bracing acidity, great length and complexity.
