Wine Review: This rich and friendly Italian Primitivo is a clear deep ruby color, with aromas of black raspberry, blueberry, shoe leather, creme brulee, and pipe tobacco with notes of moist loam and menthol. Quite luxurious on the palate, it is plush, round, and medium-plus bodied, with moderate acidity and good balance. There are very ripe fruit flavors of spiced marionberry, currants, vanilla, and milk chocolate with hints of cherry-cola. Nice round tannins with a fruity long finish. This Primitivo would go nicely with a charcuterie board. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Intense red color, with a round and soft taste that recalls aromas of jam and berries. A wine that very well identifies its territory with its important structure, while still respecting the elegance that distinguishes it. It pairs perfectly with red meat and game.
