Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Franc from V. Sattui opens with a cedar closet and cinnamon bouquet with hints of black cherry and crème soda. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a black cherry and green tea blend with notes of gentle cranberry and red plum. We also detected hints of cinnamon and guava. The finish is dry and mild tannins, flavors, and acidity fade away nicely. We would pair this Cab Franc with Jägerschnitzel with mushroom gravy. Enjoy - Ken & Mark
