Wine Review: This opaque and medium purple colored Shiraz opens with a gentle red licorice and cinnamon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well balanced, elegant, and smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious, stewed plum and black cherry blend with notes of stony minerality. We also detected hints of raspberry tea. The finish is dry and its well-managed refined tannins and flavors drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Shiraz with filet mignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
