Wine Review: This bright red colored Grenache opens with a cherry and vanilla bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a pleasant mild cherry with hints of pomegranate, mild minerality and faint oak. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins fade away nicely. This Grenache is very food friendly and would pair well with cherry amaretto chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dried berry, toasty tobacco, and rose petal are present on the nose. This wine is layered with bright juicy berry and red currant on the palate. You can detect a small note of pepper and earthy leather as well. Elegant tannins and a smooth finish make for a complex, yet easy-drinking wine. Pair this wine with roasted pork loin, scalloped potatoes, and fresh green beans.
