Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a very fragrant cranberry and Maraschino cherry bouquet with hints of moist pipe tobacco, cedar, and nutmeg. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. We also found it to be juicy and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a milk chocolate influenced red plum with notes of black tea and Maraschino cherry. We also detect hints of fig, earth, oak and a hint of mint. The finish is dry and moderate chunky tannins stick around for quite a while. We would pair this pair with a hearty hunter’s stew or a big juicy burger. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
Winemaker Notes: This Cabernet Sauvignon is pure Paso Robles, full of polished aromas of blueberry, cherry and vanilla, leading to flavors of dark red fruits, black currants and hints of pepper, mocha and caramelized oak. Rich yet smooth, this wine is very approachable now, and will continue to mature for years to come.
