Wine Review: This opaque and onyx colored Cabernet is old school. Readers who like European styled Cab based wines will like this one. It opens with mild black currant and gentle smoky oak bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth and mellow. The flavor profile is a gentle oak infused black currant and plum blend with notes of black cherry. The finish is dry and its mild fine oak tannins are brief and easy going. This wine is built for food and ready to be consumed now. I would pair this friendly wine with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: An elegant nose of cassis, ripe plum, and cherry; with hints of cedar, cocoa, and sweet vanilla. The mouth smooth - layered with flavors of blackberry jam, black cherry, and raspberry. Mouth-filling tannins lift the palate and provide an elegant finish of berry and spice.
