Wine Review: This Malbec, a robust, good weeknight choice from Mendoza, Argentina, is a clear dark ruby color, and has pretty aromas of black cherry, lilac, red raspberry, and vanilla. On the palate this is a very approachable wine, nicely balanced, medium bodied, smooth, and moderately acidic. It has a nice freshness to it. Flavors include black plum, strawberry, clove, and some underlying oak. There are also hints of blackberry, vanilla, and tobacco leaf. Round integrated tannins and a fruity moderate length finish. Great with homemade cheeseburgers on the grill. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: Bright, intense red with violet and bluish hues. Aromas of cherries, strawberries, and raspberries with balanced notes of vanilla and coconut from the oak. Well balanced, it has sweet, drinkable tannins and a velvety finish.
