Wine Review: This Petite Sirah was the winner of our recent blind tasting for this grape category. The ’09 Tres Sabores is pitch black colored and opens with a mild blackberry bouquet with a hint of black licorice. On the palate, this wine is so inviting. It is full bodied, very well balanced, and really smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild black plum and gentle oak blend with hints of blueberry, chocolate, and coffee. The finish is quite dry and its dusty moderate tannins drift away nicely for quite some time. The panel suggested pairing this gorgeous Petite Sirah with a dry-aged ribeye. Enjoy - KWGTP
