Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina opens with a black cherry and black currant bouquet with hints of clove and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and easy to drink. The flavor profile is mild black cherry and graphite blend with notes of gentle cedar and black currant. I also detected hints of pomegranate and tobacco in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and its fruit and dusty fine tannins drift away nicely. This food friendly Cab would pair well with meat lasagna. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep red color with violet hues. A well-structured wine with complex aromas of plum jam, green pepper, raisins, tobacco, and a delicate touch of oak. Balanced and very persistent in the mouth with soft and ripe tannins. Ideal to serve with all kinds of red meats, cheeses, and pasta with well spiced sauces.
