Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and ruby colored Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley is very good. It opens with a fragrant black raspberry and craisin bouquet with hints of teaberry, vanilla, and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, smooth and seamless. The flavor profile is a stewed black plum and gentle blueberry blend with notes of black cherry. I also detected hints of cedar, teaberry, and vanilla. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. I would pair this very good Pinot with my beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Early and consistent rains, followed by ideal summer temperatures create a perfect balance in acidity and fruit. Tart cherry with a creamy blackberry palate. Baking spice, vanilla, and star anise finish.
