Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Tooth & Nail opens with a very ripe yellow grapefruit and tomato leaf bouquet with a hint of lime zest. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and zesty. The flavor profile is a chalky minerality, yellow grapefruit and lime blend with notes of asparagus. I also detected hints of peas. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for a very long time. I would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with asparagus and parmesan risotto. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A deliciously expressive wine, the 2021 Sauvignon Blanc explodes from the glass with aromas of pink grapefruit, white peach and kafir lime. On the palate, layer upon layer of citrus, white gummy, peach, and pineapple are stacked against refreshing acidity, all supported by ample weight from extended lees contact.
