Wine Review: This well-balanced Chardonnay is a brilliant medium golden yellow color. It has a lovely creamy lemon, bosc pear, and wet stone bouquet, along with light florals and a hint of butterscotch. On the palate, it is medium bodied with medium-plus acidity. It is also velvety smooth, round, slightly creamy and very clean. I found flavors of white peach, lightly grilled nectarine, saline and nicely integrated minerality, with a touch of oak. The extended finish is chalky and dry. This Chard would pair well with a personal lobster pot pie. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Color: Lemon yellow with silver and green highlights
On the Nose: Lemon curd, fresh tropical white pineapple, white stone fruit, an herbal note of thyme, honeycomb, and nutmeg with a hint of limestone.
On the Palate: Bright acidity floods the palate, showcasing notes of grapefruit, yellow peach pit, fresh cut flower stem, clove and a chalky minerality on the finish.
