Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Tolosa is very good. It opens with fragrant and inviting black raspberry and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced with soft edges. The flavor profile is a very tasty oak influenced stewed plum and black raspberry blend. I also picked up notes of black pepper, craisin and some earthy minerals. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Pinot is a very good food wine and would pair nicely with duck breast with pomegranate-citrus glaze. Enjoy - Ken
