Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Petite Sirah Port from Titus is an excellent follow-up to their inaugural 2021 vintage. The 2022 opens with a rum and black licorice bouquet with hints of pecan and pencil shavings. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, lush and fresh. The flavor profile is an extracted blackberry and rum cake blend with notes of anise and walnuts. I also detected hints of dark chocolate and blueberry in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and flavors, acidity and well-managed moderate tannins are quite lengthy. I would pair this Petite Sirah Port with a cigar and a firepit. Enjoy - Ken
