Wine Review: This opaque pale ruby colored Malbec opens with a shy red plum and dried herbs bouquet with hints of terra cotta and black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with moderate acidity. We also found it to be balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is flavor profile is a tasty red plum and oak blend when notes blackberry and dried herbs. We also detected hints of stony minerality. The finish is dry and its tingly acidity and gentle tannins linger nicely. The Panel would pair this easy to drink Malbec with Chinese pork ribs or a lamb burger. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: TintoNegro, meaning “black wine” in Spanish, is meant to celebrate the essence of Malbec in Mendoza. Known for its dark, blackish color, Malbec is definitely a TintoNegro. Sourced from Mendoza’s high altitude Uco Valley, this blend is meant to showcase the cool climate style of Malbec. Intense floral aromatics, dark fruit flavors, rich texture and a bright, fresh finish.
