Wine Review: This savory Malbec is a translucent dark ruby color. I found dark plum, smoke and moist earth in the bouquet with some violets and spicy notes. It is a fruity, medium bodied wine that has medium acidity, and is balanced and somewhat simple. I detected flavors of red plum and currant, with some raisin, graphite and notes of coffee. The finish is dry and long, along with some fine-grained tannins. This Malbec from the Uco Valley would pair well with steak fajitas. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: TintoNegro, meaning "black wine" in Spanish, is meant to celebrate the essence of Malbec in Mendoza. Known for its dark, blackish color, Malbec is definitely a TintoNegro.
