Wine Review: This ruby colored Malbec reminded the panel of a South African Pinotage. It opens with an attractive black cherry bouquet with musty hints of oak and earth. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild red plum with notes of faint smoky oak. We also detected hints of black cherry and espresso. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for quite a while. The panel suggested pairing this Malbec with a Moroccan lamb stew. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: TintoNegro, meaning "black wine" in Spanish, is meant to celebrate the essence of Malbec in Mendoza. Known for its dark, blackish color, Malbec is definitely a TintoNegro. Sourced from Mendoza's Primera Zona of Maipu and Lujan de Cuyo the Mendoza blend is meant to showcase the exceptional value and approachable profile of Malbec. The wine’s soft, drinkable style is accompanied by light oak aging for additional complexity.
