Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Three Sticks opens with a wild strawberry and loam bouquet with hints of black raspberry and eucalyptus. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and bright. The flavor profile is red plum and red raspberry tea blend with notes of mild minerality, loam, and mushroom. We also detected hints of red cherry, clove, and a touch of lime. The finish is dry, extended, and very bright and refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with dark turkey pot pie, pork loin with mushrooms or with an herb encrusted rack of lamb. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: With this vintage, you’ll find notes of fresh blackberry, strawberry preserves, and creme brûlée on the nose, complemented by brown sugar and a long, grippy finish.
