Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Three Stick is impressive and very good. It opens with a wild strawberry, red plum, and cinnamon bouquet with hints of sandalwood. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, delicate and silky smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe red plum and loganberry blend with notes of strawberry jam, cherry and cranberry. We also detected a hint of cinnamon towards the end. It is nicely complex. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this terrific Pinot with either roasted pork loin, coq au vin or just sip it on its own. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: We are over the moon excited about our newest wine to the Three Sticks lineup, our 2018 Cuvee Alana Pinot Noir. Planted in 2010 and named after Bill Price's youngest daughter. This wine is intoxicating with aromas of apple blossoms, black cherry and allspice with bursts of bright acidity. The mid-palate has notes of Santa Rosa plum, which leads to a finish of super silky tannins.
