Wine Review: This very dark red colored blend opens with a black cherry and boysenberry bouquet with a hint of cinnamon tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a graphite influenced blackberry blend with notes with black cherry and cedar. I also detected hints of menthol, loam, and blueberry. The finish is very dry, and its bold tannins stick around for a very long time. This very good value wine benefits greatly from decanting. It paired very well with Sunday perfect pot roast. Enjoy - Ken
