Wine Review: This clear and deep garnet colored wine made from Babic grapes opens with a boysenberry and dried thyme bouquet with hints of fig, oak, and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round and easy going. The flavor profile is cedar influenced black fig with notes of unripe red plum and mulberry. There are hints of earthy minerality, chamomile tea and lots of dried herbs in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its flavors and soft tannins fade away nicely. This Babic would pair well with lamb stew or smoked pork shoulder. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
Winemaker Notes: TESTAMENT BABIĆ is red wine with dark ruby, opaque color. Aromas of ripe red fruit, dark chocolate and spices enrich the scent. The wine has rich flavors, lively acids, and mighty structure.
