Wine Review: This bright red colored kitchen sink blend was very well received by everyone that tried it. It opens with fragrant and attractive boysenberry bouquet with hints of strawberry jam. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, friendly and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty strawberry, cola and gentle boysenberry blend with a hint of pomegranate and oak in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins fade away nicely. This is a perfect summer red wine to quaff. It goes down easy and would pair well with a pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Tess is a delightful, refreshing wine that showcases the bright fruit of strawberry, raspberry and watermelon. A lovely aromatic nose displays pomegranate, cranberry and orange peel with light floral notes and hints of spice. This wine is surprisingly rich with soft tannins and balanced with bright acidity. Serve Tess chilled to 45°c. Tess is versatile and goes with a wide array of foods including entree salads, pan seared scallops and salmon, classic American fare as well as spicy ethnic foods including Thai, Szechuan, Indian and Mexican.
