Wine Review: This dark red colored Sangiovese based wine opens with a fragrant Rainier cherry bouquet with hints of blueberry and red plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and nicely balanced between it acidity and fruit. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused tart cherry with notes of black plum and oak. I also detected a hint of black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and flavors are nicely extended. I would pair this wine with a short rib ragu with pappardelle. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Layered aromas of blueberry, strawberry and black tea with spicy elements of pipe tobacco and vanilla. Rich and lush on the palate the forward soft fruit rounds out on the mid palate and lingers for a long finish that is bright and balanced. - Sam Baxter
