Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Talley opens with an attractive cherry and strawberry bouquet with hints of dried flowers and toasty oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty strawberry and red cherry blend with hints of red raspberry tea and mild minerality. The finish is dry and its acidity shows up at the end to deliver nice length. The Panel suggested pairing this very nice Pinot with many foods ranging from shrimp cocktail, homemade mac’ n cheese with ham to veal meatloaf with a mushroom gravy. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Light burgundy in appearance, the 2014 vintage of Rincon Vineyard Pinot Noir has an aroma radiating with delicate floral notes and a touch of warm oak. A sweet blackberry attack gives way to lush mid-palate concentration and a lingering finish. Try pairing this well-balanced Pinot Noir with sauteed mushrooms or Coq au Vin.
