Wine Review: This is an unusual Pinot Noir that opens with plum, cranberry, smoke and herbal notes in the bouquet. It is a sparkly translucent ruby color, with good structure and a medium body; fruit forward but dry and juicy. Flavors of cherry, cranberry, minerality and a hint of earthy blueberry blend nicely. The drying tannins linger in the finish. Teriyaki pork tenderloin would go well with this Pinot. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: Kali Hart is Talbott's most fruit-forward expression of Sleepy Hollow Vineyard. Approachable and bright, this Pinot Noir opens with aromas of crushed cranberry, plum and red currant. This rich red fruit compote flavor continues on the palate, where it is accentuated by soft and silky tannins. The finish is long and luscious with hints of ripe fruit, vanilla and French oak.
