Wine Review: This pale straw (Rose gold) colored Torrontés from Crios opens with lychee and grapefruit bouquet with a hint of rose petals and cilantro. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with light plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bright, and savory. The flavor profile is lychee and lime blend with notes of white peach. We also detected some hints of grapefruit and saline I the mix. The finish is dry, subtle and a bit mineral driven. The Tasting Panel would suggest pairing this Torrontés with poached cod with white wine or with coconut fried shrimp. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A crisp, refreshing, and aromatic Torrontés with notes of citrus, passion fruit, lychee and white flowers. A lively acidity, a hint of creaminess and a long finish add depth and balance to the palate. Pair with Asian food and fusion cuisine, crab, fish, citrus salads or with creamy desserts.
