Wine Review: This attractive ruby colored mid tier Cabernet finish in second place in our big blind Cab tasting. It opens with an attractive black currant and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this Cab is medium bodied, smooth, and shows finesse. The flavor profile is a delicious black currant with notes of black cherry. The panel also detected hints of black pepper and very mild oak. The finish is rather dry and its fine tannins build up and are quite lengthy. The panel would pair this gem with a filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine displays an inviting dark ruby color that segues to aromas of black cherry, blackberry, tealeaf, anise, currant, and clove. The rich and creamy mouthfeel echoes the bouquet with juicy layers of blackberry, dark cherry, and currant, accented by spicy oak and fine-grained tannins.
