Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet from Stryker opens with a pleasant mild black currant bouquet with a hint of boysenberry and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild mineral and gentle red plum blend with hints of red currant and strawberry licorice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and acidity are rather sticky and linger for quite some time. This wine would pair well with roasted pork chops with a fig sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: It’s been three years since we’ve produced an Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and we are pleased to present this 100% varietal wine. The 2010 is a wine that will change drastically from first sip to last. Opening with a rich blackberry and sage, the wine will progress as it opens further, revealing hints of sandalwood and earthy notes that lead into bakers cocoa and an opulent dried cherry. Decant now and enjoy, or hold until 2020 - Tim Hardin Winemaker
