Wine Review: This honey colored ice styled wine is made from Vidal Blanc grapes. It is absolutely delicious. It opens with a fragrant tangerine and apricot like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and very viscous. The flavor profile is a delicious ripe apricot with notes of quince and fig. The finish is pleasantly sweet, lengthy and very satisfying. This wine is consistently one of my favorite dessert wines. It would pair perfectly with a sliced green apple and sharp cheddar cheese platter. It is also an incredible deal at $25. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A ripe apricot nose starts off this rich, fruity dessert wine and continues through to the finish. Slight hazelnut overtones mix with pineapple to create a truly unique taste. The finish lingers, but also lifts, leaving only the fruit flavors with a hint of sweetness.
