Wine Review: This light yellow colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with a ripe Bosc pear bouquet with hints of ginger and quince. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and round. The flavor profile is a Bosc pear and mineral blend with hints of honey and quince. The finish is semi-dry and its flavors linger and last for a while. I would pair this food friendly Riesling with baked Brie with fig. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Tasting Notes: Ripe, rich fruit flavors with a crisp, bright finish and elegant length. Up front aromas of apricot and pear introduce with light white peach flavors. Cheese Pairing: Mild or sharp cheddar, spicy cheese, and blue cheese. Food Pairing: Salads, white fish, oysters, and other shellfish.
