Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes opens with fragrant pear bouquet with hints of apple and lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly sweet and pleasantly acidic. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused lime with hints of green apple and apricot. The finish is semi-dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This Riesling is food friendly and would pair well with sushi and grilled swordfish kabobs. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is lively, with round, full notes of green apple and other exotic and tropical fruits. A hint of acidity balances the wine perfectly. The finish is a pleasant, flinty lift. Serve this Riesling with mild creamy cheddar cheese or chicken dishes, and most Asian dishes.
