Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Somnium opens with a pink grapefruit and gooseberry bouquet with hints of asparagus and passionfruit. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and fresh. The flavor profile is a tasty blend of gooseberry, gentle pineapple, and vanilla with notes of lime. I also detected hints of ginger, white pepper, and a touch of passionfruit.
