Wine Review: This medium garnet colored Pinot Noir opens with Dr. Pepper and toasted oak bouquet with hints of blueberry, vanilla, violet, and dry leaves. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is cola, vanilla, and black cherry blend with notes of oak and blackberry. We also detected hints of milk chocolate and a touch of faint orange. The finish is dry, and its flavors and mild dusty tannins are nicely sustained. We would pair this Pinot with a grilled venison steak or a bison burger. Enjoy – KWGTP
