Wine Review: This full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from Sequoia Grove started out with an inviting bouquet of blackberry, oak, floral notes, hints of strawberry rhubarb and coffee. I found it to be, ink red in color. It has a nice palate presence while exhibiting some complexity and balance. Its flavor profile included blackberry, plum, dusty tannins, oak, leather and black cherry that were all integrated together nicely. The extended finish featured notes of cherries and dry dusty tannins that were pleasing and lingered nicely. I would pair this Napa Cab with a Kona coffee encrusted steak. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: Dark red in color, this wine has notes of blackberry and mocha with hints of plum and sage. On the palate, the impeccably balanced wine is dark, fleshy and supple, with notes of espresso and bittersweet chocolate and a touch of black cherry on the finish.
