Wine Review: This midnight black colored Cabernet Sauvigonon from Sebastiani will be a crowd pleaser. It opens with a very mild black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry and gentle black currant blend with integrated gentle smoky oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are friendly. This Cab could pair well with pork tenderloin. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2010 Cherryblock is deep and dark with notes of tea, dried herbs, blackberry, black cherry and graphite. The palate is lithe and plush with persistent fruit flavors and well integrated tannins. This is a beautiful, seductive wine that showcases both the cooler conditions of the vintage and the unique character of this historic site.
