Wine Review: This straw-colored sparkling wine from Roederer Estate opens with a few random streaming bubbles. The bouquet displays fresh lemon zest and green apple aromas. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, approachable, fresh, and has some pleasant froth. The flavor profile is a chalky minerality and lemon-lime blend with notes of green tea and ginger ale. I also detected some hints of green apple and white pepper. The finish is dry, and its acidity and flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this sparkler with quiche Lorraine appetizers. Enjoy – Ken
