Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Rodney Strong is very good. It opens with a Bosc pear and vanilla crème bouquet with hints of lemon zest and graham cracker. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright, and fresh. The flavor profile is a Bosc pear and quince blend with notes of vanilla crème and lemon tea. I also detected hints of kitchen spice and gentle oak throughout. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. This Chard would pair well with fettuccine alfredo. Enjoy - Ken
