Wine Review: This dark ruby colored blend from Rodney Strong opens with a boysenberry bouquet with hints craisin and dark cherry. The flavor profile is black cherry with notes boysenberry and blueberry. I also detected hints of oak and raspberry tea. The finish is dry and its flavors and managed tannins are nicely prolonged. This wine performed better on day two, so decanting in the near term is encouraged. It was well liked by those that tried it. We would recommend pairing it with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2015 Symmetry has luxurious aromas of red fruit, plum, vanilla, dusty oak and dried fruit which unfold on the palate with silky layers of dark fruits, baking spices, and a supple, rich mouthfeel. This wine is harmonious and elegant with refined tannins and a long, lingering finish. Enjoy this wine now with beef stew or grilled pork tenderloin.
