Wine Review: This pitch black colored red blend opens with opens with a ripe blackberry bouquet with a hint of black licorice. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, rich and concentrated. The flavor profile is a ripe blackberry with notes of black cherry, black licorice and a touch of black currant and lingering oak. The finish is dry and its dusty dry tannins stick around for a little while. This big boy will really appeal to fans of the top Shiraz’s from Barossa. I would decant this wine and serve it with a cowboy cut ribeye. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2010 Symmetry greets you with an opulent bouquet of blackberries, cassis and sweet spices which unfold on the palate with layers of black fruits, dark chocolate and spice. This mouth-filling wine is rich and silky in texture, with the structure for several years in the cellar. It manages to be at once harmonious, concentrated and elegant, with a lingering finish. Intended to be enjoyable on release, the 2010 Symmetry is destined for evolution in the bottle. Savor it!
