Wine Review: This light red Pinot opens with a spicy red raspberry bouquet with a hint of musty oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, soft, yet juicy. The flavor profile is a blend of ripe red raspberry and black tea. There are also notes of black pepper and strawberry mixed in. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are slightly prolonged. This Pinot would be a nice evening opener wine to server with smoked salmon from Norway. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Complex aromatics of blackberry, cherry pit, cigar box, saddle leather, hints of minerality and dark chocolate. A wine of weight and and silky texture delivering sweet cherries, plum, and fresh raspberries.
