Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Carneros opens with a boysenberry and cranberry bouquet with hints of rose. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is plum and cola with hints of old oak, minerality and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins fade away nicely. This Pinot is food friendly and would pair well with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Take in the aromas of this wine and it will be as if you stepped into a fresh grove full of deliciously ripe black cherry bushes, deep rich earth, gleaming wet stones and the airy fragrance of fresh forest. This incredibly fragrant Pinot Noir adds a complex blend of spices (vanilla, clove, nutmeg and pepper) to its earthy and black cherry flavors that ride across the palate in an elegant, silky wave.
