Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay from Mondavi opens with an apple and lemon bouquet with hints of caramel. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused pear with notes of oak and a hint of toffee. The finish is dry and its flavors last for a little while. This Chard would pair well with pumpkin ravioli with a sage brown butter sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Ripe Asian pear, autumn quince and white melon fruit mingle beautifully with toasty hazelnuts and a hint of ginger spice in this classic Napa Valley Chardonnay. The tantalizing flavors ride silkily along a rich wave of texture into a long, lingering finish.
