Wine Review: This opaque and midnight blue colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Oakville opens with a blueberry bouquet with a hint of black currant. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, juicy and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a black cherry and ripe plum blend with notes of gentle oak and a hint of blueberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build up and remain sticky. This fruity Cab will appeal to Zin fans and would pair well with Stuart's steak treats. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Classically Cabernet. Classically Oakville, the wine strikes a captivating balance between power and finesse. The delicious core of layered black fruit - crème de cassis, blackberry and black cherry - is imbued with rich mocha and toasty toffee with subtle traces of fresh bay and black pepper. Already complex and approachable, the sumptuous, mouth filling texture is lifted by refreshing acidity.
