Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Cabernet opens with an attractive ripe black currant bouquet with a hint of black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced, and super smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty black pepper and plum blend with notes of boysenberry and old oak. The finish is dry and its medium tannins are impressive and show great length. This terrific wine would pair very well with a cowboy cut ribeye steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A profusion of aromas - creme de cassis, black cherry coulis, anise, violet, black olive, fresh herb and smoke - spill out of the glass and scent the room. Profoundly deep, complex flavors echo the aroma with firm, well-integrated tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, cocoa-mineral finish.
