Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Zinfandel from Robert Biale is an impressive wine that delivers a lot of value. It opens with blackberry, wet stone, and cedar bouquet with hints of mint leaves and dark chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a very tasty blackberry and dark chocolate covered strawberry blend with notes of cedar and black cherry. I also detected hints of cardamom and black tea. The finish is dry and its flavors and well-managed fine tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this very approachable Zin with Kobe ground beef slider with your favorite blue cheese on King's Hawaiian sweet rolls. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Vibrant aromas of black raspberry, strawberry preserves, crushed herbs, cherry wood, and white pepper in the glass. Notes of bramble, plum, and baking spice on the palate are punctuated by white peach high tones. The 2022 Party Line is rounded out by soft tannins and a long, lingering finish.
