Wine Review: This dark ruby colored blend from Riley’s Rows opens with a black plum and craisin bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and approachable. The flavor profile is a mild black cherry and graphite blend with notes of red plum. I also detected hints of craisin and black tea. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show nice length as they build-up slightly. This blend would pair very nicely with grilled Kobe beef sliders with tarragon aioli and caramelized onions. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2017 Riley's Rows 3 x 3 displays a nose of ripe plum and Bing cherries with a hint of cocoa. The palate opens with ripe red berries. The mid-palate offers a delicious melange of blackberry, Rainer Cherry, and nutmeg. The wine has a long finish, very balanced acidity, and soft tannins.
